Call for Demos

To be held at the 12th International Conference on
Principles and Practice of Constraint Programming (CP 2006)
Nantes, France

25-29 September 2006

The CP conference is the annual international conference on constraint
programming and related areas. It is concerned with all aspects of
computing with constraints, including: theory, algorithms, applications,
environments, languages, models and systems.

CP'06 will feature session(s) devoted to demos of either academic or
industrial tools and applications. Demos are solicited from all
disciplines related to constraints and from practitioners and academics
alike. Demos that focus on innovative research ideas, actual systems or
applications that critically depend on constraint technology are
strongly encouraged. Specific topics of interest include (but are not
limited to): Constraint Solvers (Finite Domain, Continuous, Local,
Satisfiability based, etc); Modeling Tools / Environments; Applications
in any area based on constraint technologies.

SUBMISSION
----------

Send a one-page description of your demo to ldm@engr.uconn.edu in PDF
format by the deadline listed below. The one page document should
include

* The contact person (affiliation and contact information)
* The content of the demo: what will be shown.
* Specific needs for the demo (you are expected to bring your own hardware)

PARTICIPATION
-------------

At least one author of each accepted demo must attend the
conference to demo his/her system.

IMPORTANT DATES
---------------

One-page demo descriptions: August 6, 2006
Notification of acceptance: August 13, 2006
Conference dates:  September 24-29, 2006
