Did I say anything about the blow job? He basically snubbed his nose at
the very law that he was sworn to protect. And, remember, it's not like
he was the president of some po-dunk 5th world country - he was the POTUS!

> He *did* lie...I think there is precedence for lying in the whitehouse.

And continuing to lie? Frittering away taxpayer money by lying in
defense of yourself? The 5th Amendment says you can't be compelled to
incriminate yourself - it doesn't say you get to make something else up
instead. That's got its own name - perjury. And *that* is the negative
angle that I feel our culture will have a tough time recovering from.

And, not to revamp the whole political thing, but we didn't have to
*recover* from Hiroshima - it saved lives. Ditto for Iraq. We're
*still* not over the planes crashing into the buildings. Did you hear
this w that now we find out that folks in DoD *knew* that Mohammed
Atta and four other 9/11 terrorists were part of a Brooklyn al-Qaeda
cell, but couldn't share that info with the FBI because of a Clinton-era
"wall of separation"?

But hey - Romans 8:28 is still in the book. Because of this failure,
and the resultant strike, there are two terror strongholds gone, and the
remainder of the international Islamic terrorist network is on the run.
They're desperate, they're losing, and they know it. Maybe I
shouldn't have used the word "never," but it's still going to be a long,
long time recovering from that.

Your view may vary...

If you read the Good Book, you'll see that this wasn't the original
state of the creation...
