Strange compilation error.

When i compile perl 5.8.7 , 5.8.6 and 5.6.2, the compiler gives me always th
e same error:

I type:
./Configure -d
make

and then the error appears:

I have a 32 Mb ram with gcc 3.3.1

Is my system poor of ram for compiling it?
Where is the problem?
