datacursormode and more sigfigs

Hello,

I've been using matlab's built-in data cursor to quickly pick out
interesting points in figures.   However, the window that the data
cursor displays (at the point I click on) contains only 4 significant
figures.   Is there some way to get this window to display 8 or 12?
