Visual Basic Error Crashed VB

Dear All,

I was testing an OCX control on another project as part of a UserControl
project group when VB crashed and now VB comes up with an error that it
cannot find a tmp file in my local settings when I try to run the form or
add the control to the form again. The tmp file does exist in the path
specified but I think it must be corrupt. I can still view my UserControl
object and its code but cannot add the control to the test project. What
should I do?

I have tried deleting the tmp file and saving another UserControl over the
saved control without much luck.
