VB6: DataReport and Persistence
Does anybody know how to get the DataReport to "refresh" its data store,
when displaying data from a MDB file that it previously read? I've found out
that the very first time the DataReport displays the data present in the MDB
file correctly, however if the MDB file changes, then the DataReport merely
displays the old data, not the new one. This issue obviously ties into the
persistence issue, where it doesn't matter if the application unloads the
DataReport, the DataReport will still maintain a lock and cache read on the
database.

I presume it is because of all the weird behavior that I've run into with
the DataReport that quite a few developers use CrystalReports. Microsoft is
great for teasing people. Anyways, thanks in advance guys.
