FB is great; that's why I'm k eeping at least some API compatibility with it. But I had so much customisation I needed to do; it didn't make sense to thro w a ton of callbacks and tweaks to hack around FB. Plus I also didn't need a lot of features it has, and theythe hell out of me, my code path is a bit easier to debug be cause I don't have to chase those rabbits. Uh, plus, when I started FB wasn't quite stable enough for my taste, and I c ouldn't risk random things breaking and me not knowing how to fix it. My FB-like class is a bit over 700 lines total. It's not a competitor ;-) I' d publish it but I don't think anyone else will like the way I did stuff; it 's specific to this application. - -ken - -- - --------------- The world's most affordable web hosting. http://www.nearlyfreespeech.net -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFCjlo/ e8HF+6xeOIcRAh3xAJ9Of9UXmUkWzh2UAOHIytiJ bCrWPwCgnvHR soyA3CPmKmoJqnRLhnm/UZk= =LQC8 -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
