is Monitor on ? (offtopic)
hi,

please donīt laught ...

i like to show a Application on second port from my grafic card on TV.
if i plug in a TV into my GFK, i can switch on button for TV and i can see
it on both. i also can disable monitor, only running TV, but

... if monitor cable is not connected @start it will not show something on
TV ? (monitor must not be ON, just plug in)

so i need a "dummy" VGA connector ... but what is inside with cable pin ?

GFK is ATi AllinWonder

Jimmy
p.s. no option in BIOS

page:
http://homepage.mac.com/walchko/pc_pinout.html

Try just shorting pin 4 to pin 5. If that doesn't work, then try shorting
pin 11 to pin 5. Or short both at once.
