I've heard of this before, but have never encountered it myself. I know this issue has been brought up before. I suggest you search www.google.com. You should be able to find a previous message with the answer. The only thing I could find in MS's KB pertained to installation of Visual Studio itself, but I would imagine the problem could very well be the same. So, you might want to take a look at this: PRB: "Invalid Command" or "Installation Wizard" Errors During Setup After the CD Key Prompt http://support.microsoft.com/defaul...kb;en-us;250343 In any case, it's a configuration issue with Windows. -- Mike Microsoft MVP Visual Basic
Post Follow-up to this messageThanks MikeD, I've asked him to restart in safe mode and install from there. I haven't yet heard back.
