Bitmap from Panel

Bitmap from Panel
How can I get a bitmap for a panel so that I can use Bitmap.GetPixel() on
mouse move to know the color the mouse is over?
Currently I have a separate Bitmap filled in sync with the panel to do the
above but I guess there is a better way.
