Getting user inactivity time in a process

Suppose a process notepad.exe has started. I like to know how to detect a pe
riod of inactivity of a user for that process, for instance how long the use
r has not entered anything into notepad.Maybe System.Diagnostics can solve t
his problem but i did not find much information on the websites.Hope to gath
er some advice here.
