dbCombo question

Hi. Can you 'toggle' a users ability to edit an entry in a dbcombo? When
a dbcombo is being used 'normally' the selected entry is always
highlighted and so can be deleted or changed. Under Access, you can do
this with an Editable property but I can't find an equivalent in vb
(using vb 5 btw). Locked and enabled are no use here. Thanks alot, matthew.
