Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.Hi! i am using pde toolbox for solving Laplace eqn and the heat conduction equation as a coupled system(coupled via the heat source density)in the generic system mode. My geometry is a rectangle ABCD with coordinates as follows:A(0,0),B(20,0),C(20,50)and D(0,50). BC and DA have Neumann Boundary,CD is a mixed boundary. The boundary AB is divided by a point J(0,7) such that AJ has a Dirichlet Boundary and JB has a Neumann Bounday. Now in AJ, my u(1)=1.2(volts) and u(2)=300(Kelvin). At CD u(1)=0 and u(2) follows the Neumann Boundary Condition. Now my question is how to specify the initial conditions in the solve menu of the pde tool box, for my problem.I need the syntax to specify both the initial conditions for u(1)and u(2).
