The underlying compression may be the same, but shareware for some and
a commercial 'deluxe version' with a treshold for others, is that a
brilliant idea for what is intended to be a mass product?

Presupposing they are interested at all, most people I know want the
main high end version of a tool. Are you any different?

Maybe you should make the different versions available in one and the
same transparant way. Unless your customer companies are less
trustworthy than the average user, what could be the problem?

Building in a bit of a treshold for a worldwide public to get a version
may not be in your own interest - as people who want to have a look,
may get it anyway.
