Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.I have collected and am making available g95, Photran, three books in PDF format, and some other tools (such as Coco and two multiple precision packages). You can buy the CD cheap ($44) at fortran.com. If you like, think of it as buying the books and getting the other stuff free; it did take a bit of time to get all this stuff working together. I hope to expand the set of tools and improve the documentation (I have created some for Photran, but much more is needed). Suggestions are most welcome, of course. To see a little more information about this, go to fortran.com, enter the Fortran Store (you don't have to register or buy anything) and search for FTools. -- Walt Brainerd +1-877-355-6640 (voice & fax) The Fortran Company +1-520-760-1397 (outside USA) 6025 N. (Much of the FTOOLS software has Fortran at its core, BTW, but combined with C and Perl and such.) regards cgm

Thanks for creating this. What are the titles of the Fortran books? Another interesting CD is the "FORTRAN 77/90/95 Compilers libraries Linux/UNIX Windows" on sale at EBay. It contains the g95, gfortran, OpenWatcom, and g77 compilers and several libraries such as Lapack and Slatec.

I don't care about a catchy "marketing" name, just wanted to be able to call it something. There is also an fctools. Fortools is used, but it has nothing to do with Fortran. How about this: the person that comes up with a name for me gets a copy of the CD. -- Walt Brainerd +1-877-355-6640 (voice & fax) The Fortran Company +1-520-760-1397 (outside USA) 6025 N. I recently got an e-mail from Ebay saying I am banned forever from using EBay because I have violated my agreement with them, although I have never even looked at it. -- Walt Brainerd +1-877-355-6640 (voice & fax) The Fortran Company +1-520-760-1397 (outside USA) 6025 N.
