Help Me

ok comment posting works..... anyways, I need help for my PERL class. We sup
pose to write a simple programs that:
(1) accept user input 0-4, reference the array that I predifine.
(2) from that input I would covert that array element into "-----" dashes.
(3) ask user to guess a letter or word of that array element. If they guess 
correct letter then it will display "a----". Then the loop will continue unt
il they figure out the word. If lets say they're on the second try and they 
type in "apple" then output would be CORRECT!

well I have half of the code figured but could not get the other half to wor
k because im not familiar with this language and I hope someone could help m
e on this.
