Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.Required Skills and Experience --- DB2 DBA/Database Experience - (5 Years) Strong Technical Skills/Knowled ge - DB2 experience required- work with DBAs, understand existing applications written in DB2 - DB2 ETL process experience required (Warehouse manager, Data stage strongly preferred) ETL (Warehouse Manager): both inbound and outbound - ability to work with application support / developers working in a heterogeneous environment AS400, RS6000/AIX, Tandem, data polling/transmission modules (Xcellenet, FTP, Web Services, Mercator, etc) - ability to work with application support / developers to review the details of existing applications - Experience with Perl Scripting required --- Systems Analysis (5+ years experience) - create requirements documents for reporting, staging area and applications - focus on data (rather than the typical focus on applications) - experience with Data Quality and Data Centric business processes. - ability to gather data quality-focused requirements and identify technical alternatives and recommendations --- Systems Design (5+ years experience) - create systems design documents in collaboration with system/application support staff and developers - the technical design needs to be complete and suitable for programming - ability to deliver system design to support a data quality environment that is integrated and aligned with the overall McDonald's technical architecture --- Data Architecture / Data Modeling (1-3 years experience) - develop the design of the data staging area --- Manage the developers who implement the designs and the testing of the work that they do (3+ years experience) - either DB2 experience or experience in a number of other data bases - participate in discussions with DBAs on detailed technical design of the staging area and data bases --- Network connectivity to a variety of platforms Please send resumes jobs@systemsontime.com or view us on [url]www.systemsontime.com[/ur l]
