Mainframe C developer Permanent

to you?  Bring your
expertise as a C developer in an IBM Mainframe environment to our clients
R&D group .   Looking for
a top-notch senior developer who is experienced with IBM mainframe
development, and has lots
of experience going through the complete software development life-cycle.
This is not your average
maintenance and enhancement position.  You will play a key role in
designing and developing our
new product release.  Dealing  with on demand real-time data transformation
and replication.  Have
exposure to other platforms and various databases including DB/2,
Oracle, SQL Server, and Sybase.



Along with your university degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineerin
g,
you have at least
10 years of relevant development experience including at least five
years developing in C, working
in an MVS environment.

You have a strong background in database design, performance tuning,
transactional logging,
replication and other advanced database concepts.  This is not a DBA
job, you need deep experience
with multitask applications, data transformation and have a sound
knowledge of software architectures.
In addition to your technical skills, you have a strong personality,
are not afraid to voice your opinion
to others others while open-minded enough to listen to dissenting
opinions.  As well, your leadership
abilities are recognized by your team members.
