Position Summary: As an integral member of the R&D team, the successful candidate will play an important role in the analysis and design of web applications. With a preferred background in VFP development, the incumbent will be a key member of a development team responsible for the migration of a client server applicatio n to a web application. The ideal candidate will have 5 or more years of experience with complex application development using a mix of technologies on a variety of platforms such as Oracle and SQL. The incumbent must be a well-developed team player and have good organizatio nal and time management skills. Key Duties & Responsibilities: · As a team member, participate in the design & development of the business logic layer of the web application · Develop and maintain custom web controls for use in ASP.Net · Troubleshoot, analyze, and optimize modules and functionality as required · Investigate and address bugs during the development phase · Prepare documentation and conduct staff training as required · Participate in special projects as assigned. Experience & Education: The ideal candidate will have a post secondary education in computer science, or equivalent experience with 5+ years of experience as a software developer in a team environment.
