Our client is sing an experienced .Net Developer to work in a dynamic,
fast paced
environment.
Successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, experienced
in software design and
implementation as well as have excellent communication skills.  Some
technical documentation may be
required.



The Developer will play a key role by working with the client,
Business Analyst and Project Manager to deliver high-quality software
in a hybrid Microsoft .Net
environment.



The Developer will report directly to the Project Manager of the engagement.
Travel within the GTA
is a requirement as the Developer will work primarily onsite at client
locations.



Responsibilities include:

· Software Design including 3-tier architecture.

· Design, develop and implement components and modules spanning the
Presentation Layer, Middle
Layer and Data Layer.

·  Development of SQL scripts and stored procedures.

·  Work closely with the business systems analyst to develop the source
to target data mappings

· Interface with client's IT team to promote systems, databases and
processes to production

·  Assist in complex sizing, resource estimates, scope and requirements
for a variety of projects.

· Provide Support to Project Team

· Prepare and execute test cases for unit and integration testing.




Required Skills and Experience

·  Minimum 5 years experience as a software developer or similar role.

·  At least 2 year experience working with the Microsoft .Net Framework
in a software development role.

·  Proficient in C# and ASP.NET development.

·  Knowledge of relational databases and specifically SQL Server 2000

·  Experience with SQL required, T-SQL preferred.

·  Previous experience with VB6 and ASP preferred.

·  Must have experience working on large systems development or systems
integration initiatives.

·  Excellent communication skills, oral and written

·  Excellent documentation/grammar skills

·  Ability to work with minimal direction and supervision

·  Demonstrated experience working in a team environment

·   A working knowledge of the software lifecycle and the role of a
Developer within it.

·   Experience working with one or more software development methodologies
such as the
Rational Unified Process or other of equivalent status.

·  Preferred candidates will have prior consulting experience.
