Can't view data with Rave Reports

Hi all

I am a Delphi 7 user with Rave Reports. I have updated my Enterprise version
 to 7.1 but still can't see any data from the created connection string with
 ADO or BDE.

I went through the "Rave First Steps.pdf" and no matter what I do, I can nev
er see the listing of data from the -Direct Data View-

I have my delphi app in design mode at the same time as I am working with Ra
ve

The other developer has the same problem I do. We are stumped as to the prob
lem.
