Eileen,

On the exchange rate - just bought Winzip, so shows up on statement as
$US 29.00 = $CDN 35.86. Guess that has to be a current exchange rate of
around 1.23.

So my previous Calgary salary range, $64,609 to $78,604 pa. comes out at
$US 52,527 - 63,905 pa. So if we take half of the Canadian figure, (your
basis for comparison), still suggest your job postings are still low at
$US 32,304 - 39,302.

Having stretched my well known mathematical abilities to do the above,
*my* Eileen said, "Why don't you look at the Business Section in the
Calgary Herald ?". There you go - $CDN 1.00 = US 82.17 cents.
