Multi Media Development Manager Permanent

Our client a leading engineering firm, is loking for a Multi Media
Development Manager with
the following experience;

Must have practical software management experience in the area of multimedia
.


Must have a sophisticated understanding of areas related to this technology,
including hardware, video
standards, visual quality, content protection, legislation, competition,
the market, etc.

Must have proven experience in successfully leading software development
teams and development
projects and in the implementation of results-oriented management techniques
.


Main duties:
-Assist in development of roadmaps
-Assign tasks
-Report status
-Facilitate a productive design and implementation environment
-Represent development to customers
-Negotiate schedules
-Active participation in code and design reviews
-Mentor the team

REQUIREMENTS

University degree in Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent

Excellent presentation and customer focused skills

MUST HAVE 5 years in a project  management role . This is a very customer
driven position .

Low level driver experience (in C), graphics or multimedia driver developmen
t
preferred

Experience with Intel X86 architecture

Experience with video processing, MPEG or DTV preferred.

Experience with Microsoft Windows essential
