Director of Enterprise Architecture Permanent

Our client is currently looking for a Director of Enterprise Architecture
with the following :

Must have architecture design/development/ deployment experience across
the following technical
areas:

Microsoft technologies (.NET, DCOM, SharePoint, BizTalk)
J2EE technologies (IBM WebSphere, BEA, WebSphere, JSP, Servlets, EJBs)

Database Technologies (Oracle, SQLServer, etc)
Enterprise technologies (SAP, PeopleSoft, Seibel)
Legacy technologies (CICS, MVS, DB2)
Enterprise integration of some or all of the above
Service Oriented Architectures (SOA)




Other requirements



Must be proficient in design
Must be proficient in assisting business development activities such
as preparation of technical
content for proposals.
Excellent communication and writing skills.  (Visio, PowerPoint, Office
a must)
Must be excellent at mentoring and providing leadership
Must have excellent presentation and communications skills
Defines and implements best practices for architecture
Must be able to lead team of architects
Ability to work across multiple client sites
Should have big five consulting experience
Must have hands on experience in software development, architecture
design and implementation and
post deployment support.
Must have big, enterprise project experience.  A candidate without
'war stories' will not be hired.
Must work to ensure architectural integrity across all projects
Must have deep knowledge of formal development methodologies and the
SDLC
Must champion the introduction of emerging technologies into the organizatio
n

Must have deep understanding of QA strategies, processes and tools

Minimum 10 years professional experience if not more; preferably in
a consulting environment and,
or, company
University Degree a must
