XP Pro is better (IMO) than XP Home so I'd say no.
If it works on one then it should work on the other.

If your having problems then your better off asking a specfic question stati
ng
what the errors your seeing are.

Roger

How do you start it??
Does it start in a window or full screen??
Do you have the mouse active in the app??

Are you using long filenames??
Do the directories have spaces in them??

You'll need to step through it in the debugger to find out exactly where it
falls over.
You might try linking with the trial version of Blinker (V7) to see if that
fixes anything

exospace but not blinker

Yesterday I had exactly the same problem. The same
morning the computer had performed a Windows Update
and some hotfixes had been installed. This was recorded
in the Event Log. The problem disappeared after I
uninstalled the hotfix KB828741, restarted, uninstalled
KB885835, restarted again and then reinstalled Windows
XP in upgrade mode. Uninstallation of KB828741 and
reinstallation of Windows XP may be unnecessary though.
The problem in probably only in KB885835. Of course,
after all this the Windows Update should be turned off, or
else the same hotfixes will install again.
