Hi Rick,

You say you can't change the copybook to get rid of the 01 level
redefines.  What is your compiler saying about your putting it in the
FD?

Although this doesn't appear to be the biggest problem you face you can
work around it by placing the copybook in WS and use the READ INTO
option.
