Systems Developer -ASP Contract

One of our clients, an IT solutions company, is looking for a
talented ASP developer for their Mississauga office.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
oMinimum 5 years experience as a programmer/analyst with web/client
server application design
oMinimum 3 years experience utilizing ASP (Interdev)
*Minimum 3 years experience of SQL server with the ability to develop
complex processes and
procedures with limited supervisions (MSSQL)

RESPONSIBILITIES
oAccountable for the development of specifications for complex applications
or modifying/maintaining
complex existing applications
oDesign, code, test, debug and document applications
oProvide work direction, mentoring and advanced support to junior staff
oCreation and maintenance of information technology systems which meet
the needs of the clients of MCI
oWorking alone or in a team, this person will be involved in the creation
of program specifications,
users meetings, project meetings, and all design aspects of program,
testing and implementing systems
oWill work closely with the e-Business Manager to ensure that the corporate
goals and objectives
are being supported by the efforts of the e-Business group
oAssist the e-Business Manager in the development of cost estimates
and initial specifications
oOn occasion will act as project leader with the responsibilities of
coordinating a small project team
*Coordinate efforts with other Systems Developers to ensure that technical
standards are complied with
*Manage role responsibilities within/to Quality Management System (QMS)

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
*Knowledge of PC networks, operating systems such as DOS, Windows,
NT, Win 2000
*Excellent knowledge of structured analysis and design
