Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.Since loading vb6, I have been unable to get to the MSDN files on my computer, nor from the library CD's. It is looking in C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\MSDN98\98VSa\1033\. The files are there, but I get the error 'The local disk does not contain the files for "MSDN VS 6.0 Local" as expected. Please update the location.' I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling as well as browsing the CDs. Suggestions please
Post Follow-up to this messagePhil, Have you tried completely uninstalling VB6 and the MSDN library and then reinstalling both? I seem to recall that sometimes a bad install of VB6 could cause this sort of problem with the MSDN Library, even if you uninstall and reinstall just the Library itself.
