Help Getting Started
Should be simple:

Trying to get started with Clarion 4b. OS is Windows 2000. Installed,
apparently successfull. Tried to run tutorial.

Error message: "cannot find c4run.dll"

Verified file exists: C:\Program Files\TOPSPEED\CLARION4\BIN\C4RUN.DLL

Checked "properties" in desktop shortcut for Clarion 4. Start in "C:
\PROGRA~1\TOPSPEED\CLARION4\Bin"

What am I missing?

Hi L. R. Diu Broff,

You may need to add the the directory to the path in autoexec.nt. At
least that is what needed to be done on my Windows XP Home Edition
(Service Pack 2) box.

Ciao . . . C.Joseph

Re: Help Getting Started
Thanks for the response. However, this does not appear to solve the
problem.

Can anyone supply a specific answer for Windows 2000?

Re: Help Getting Started
BINGO!! Thank you, Frank!

Puzzle: During installation, I gave permission to the install routine to
modify autoexec as required. Installation was done with admin privileges,
so permissions should not have been a problem. Wonder why the problem.
