Version of VS 2005 beta
I have Universal Downloads and I'd like to try VS.2005 beta.

On the site I see two similar versions:

Visual Studio 2005 CTP - November 2004 - DVD
and
Visual Studio 2005 Beta 1 Refresh with Visual Studio 2005 Team System

Can you tell me which one is the latest?

Re: Version of VS 2005 beta
The community technology previews are interim builds that usually aren't as
solid as the betas. The betas have certain quality and technical milestones
met and are geared towards certain testing and performance purposes while
the CTPs are mainly to get neat features in our hands. The CTP is newer than
the Beta 1 refresh (which is basically beta 1 with Team System added in) but
may not be as stable.

Hope this helps,

Re: Version of VS 2005 beta
Thanks for help. Is there a description of "what's new" in CTP?

I've got beta 1 now. Is it good idea to put CTP - what new features will I
be able to take a look at?

Re: Version of VS 2005 beta
I couldn't find anything that described all of the differences in the
November CTP but there is some info here on Channel 9 that may help you
decide if you want to try it out.

I will ask around here at work if there is a web page that does describe
whats new between CTP releases and post back here if I find anything out.
