Getting email to work from within an app

Hi

I am struggling to get my Clarion 5.5 app to send out email.
I am wanting to send single emails from an update form, as well as multiple
emails from a report.

Has anyone got this right - without using 3rd party templates?

have you looked at the examples\messaging\smtp\smtpdemo.app?

I've been through the email struggle many times with Clarion over the years.
My advice is to give up and buy NetTalk from CapeSoft. They have good
support and the stuff works well, even through Exchange servers. There are
some free templates, but I never had good luck with them and there is of
course no support. I gave up on the Clarion email templates, never seemed to
work.
