Perhaps something like "Numerical Computation Guide", Sun Part
800-3555-10, Revision A of 16 March 1990? Though much of it is a bit
dated (lots of stuff about older chips), it still has a place on my
bookshelf within easy reach without getting up from my chair.

Please note that all of Sun's manuals are available in
electronic form from http://docs.sun.com.
