process started by service starts successfully but crashes later

I am starting a process from a service.
System.Diagnostics.Process.Start starts the process successfully but the
process crashes later when it attempts interaction with the sound card. The
process is supplied in binary from another company.

I need to launch the process so it will be independent of the original
service.
