Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.Visual Studio 2003 drives me really crazy because of all these docked and/or floated windows. Although one can select the MDI paradigm in the options, this does not apply to all windows! I have the choice either to dock them - with the effect that half of my display space gets used-up, or let them floated - with the result I'm wasting half of my time in moving around windows. Obviously, the designers of this UI have never really worked with their own product.... I really hope that the next VS version will offer an MDI interface that applies to ALL windows (as it was in VS 6). Regards Urs

I want these Windows being 'ordinary MDI windows'. That is, they can be minimized, tiled, cascaded, sent behind etc. As it was in Studio 6, when you unchecked 'Docking View'. Regards Urs
