JAAS on Oracle AS

JAAS on Oracle AS
Just curious if anyone has worked with JAAS on an Oracle AS, aka JAZN.
Mainly I'd like to know if you can actually use it in a platform independent
way so that the same web application will work on multiple app servers. It
doesn't seem that way.
