db_dataobject : connection handling ?

Hi,

I'm having some problems with db connections that stay open.  I'm
suspecting db_dataobject.  Could someone tell me how I should handle
connection with db_dataobject ?  Should/Can I close them manually ?
Can I force the connection to close ?
