Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups. You indicated that the above-mentioned site has some nice art work for the PHP community. The truth is that this site has some very offensive art work for male PHP developers who get a kick out of art that degrades women. The "pinups" at http://www.elroubio.net/ is not what I would call art. And, I can't believe that php.net would endorse elroubio.net. The truth of the matter is that for far too long web development careers have been very difficult for women to come by due to it being a "boys game". If you wish to recommend http://www.elroubio.net you are in effect saying that the status quo should remain the status quo and that women don't have a place in the PHP community except as bimbos sporting skimpy attire displaying their secondary sexual characteristics. I strongly suggest that you take down the link to elroubio.net unless that website's creator takes down his pinups. S. Levy Director Advancement of Women in Technology

I really don't think that Vincent (elroubio) idea was to mean what you're thinking at all. They are just pinups.. We also have a lot of girls, developing PHP itself, developing with PHP, and documenting PHP in our comunity. Sex have never been a matter of fact. I'm cc-ing Vincent to get his point. Maybe he can draw some guys pinuping ? :) Best regards, Mehdi Achour S. Levy wrote: > You indicated that the above-mentioned site has some nice art work for the > PHP community.
