MS Word+APL
I have found that Microsoft Word to be an adequate editor for APL+Win.
However, is there a way or program add-on that displays the first 30 symbols
of the symbol table of Microsoft Word. Menu Insert Symbol
The symbol I need is in decimal position 6, an APL character using APL+Win
font.
When I Copy the Microsoft left pointing arrow (decimal position 132) found
in Microsoft
Word then Paste to APL+Win editor it comes out as " (quote marks).
Is there a way around this dilemma? I think if Word displayed the full
symbol
table zero to 255, I would be able to copy/paste to APL.
I could use find/replace to fix the left pointing arrow, but using a hot key
in Word is more convenient.
I also looked at the Character Map (found Program Accessories System
Tools),but
it does not display the first 20 characters.
With Thanks
