Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups. From: c dot a dot hester at bradford dot ac dot uk Operating system: XP PHP version: Irrelevant PHP Bug Type: Website problem Bug description: Search returned wrong page Description: ------------ From the main page of the PHP Manual, typing "case" into the search field takes me to the page about "cos". Sometimes other searches show a list of choices first. (Example: a search for "cast"). I think it is wrong to redirect the user to a page they did not want, just because it uses a similar word. The page I got was of no use to me. -- Edit bug report at http://bugs.php.net/?id=30859&edit=1 -- Try a CVS snapshot (php4): http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=3085...0859&r=fixedcvs Fixed in release: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=3085...30859&r=support Expected behavior: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=30859&r=notwrong Not enough info: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=3085...edtwice register_globals: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=30859&r=globals PHP 3 support discontinued: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=30859&r=php3 Daylight Savings: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=30859&r=dst IIS Stability: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=30859&r=isapi Install GNU Sed: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=30859&r=gnused Floating point limitations: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=30859&r=float MySQL Configuration Error: http://bugs.php.net/fix.php?id=30859&r=mysqlcfg
