My name is Paul Filimon, from Romania, and i am STG member [

If you need a mirror in Romania, we would gladly share space on one of

I don't understand Romanian, so I have no clue about what STG is about,
but it seems we are in need of an active Romanian mirror. There are
actually two mirrors already, but they don't care about our continualy
sent error reports since the end of august, to update their server
settings... Feel free to set up (www.)ro.php.net on a server, and
provide us the required information, when you are ready, so we can point
(www.)ro.php.net on you. More info: http://php.net/mirroring

Hello,

I  finished setting up the mirror.

Our host is: php.mirrors.sparetimegroup.net.
Apache was configured to habdle the (www.)ro.php.net virtual hosts.
My name is Paul Filimon, and we are a team of symins; our email
adress is admin@sparetimegroup.net. Please direct any questions/error
reports etc to that e-mail address.
I currently can't install stats for the mirror, but i will as soon as i
have some spare time.
"Spare Time Group" is a non-profit organization which promotes computer
science among young people, and our webpage is
https://www.sparetimegroup.net.

Checked that your mirror's IP really belongs to Romania, removed the old
and broken ro.php.net mirror, and added yours in place. Your mirror will
show up in the official mirrors list in an hour, if all goes well...
Note that it seems to be very slow from Hungary, although it still could
be fast in Romania...

The server is currently down because of a power failure, but it will
beep in a couple of hours.
The mirror works very well from Romania, any way it will be moved on
better server in a couple of days

Because our mirror is down for few hours, we cname
php.mirrors.sparetimegroup.net with php.lasting.ro.
We are sorry for the current situation.
We will try to have almoust 99.99% uptime for this mirror.
