Programming Forum and web based access to our favorite programming groups.Hello, I'm using outlook express 6, with Windows XP sp2, and when I add the news server "news.microsoft.com" or "msnews.microsoft.com" and outlook express tries to connect to the server, I receive the following error: " Configuration: Account: news.microsoft.com Server: news.microsoft.com Protocol: NNTP Port: 119 Secure(SSL): 0 Code: 800ccc0e " Am I using the wrong server name? this newsgroups required authentication? I wasn't sure about where to post this question. Vielka
