Announcement: QA-Roiadmap
Fellow QA'ers,

during the PHP Conference 2004 in Frankfurt a w ago some members of
the Core QA Team got together. We discussed the direction in which PEAR
QA should go to get the ball rolling for QA and start the real work. Out
of this "unofficial" Core QA meeting we have produced a tentative
summary of the current state of QA and a roadmap for future QA work
which can be found in the temporary PEAR Wiki [1].

The presented document and all related/linked documents are still a work
in progress and this announcement invites every QA interested developer
to comment on it, suggest further additions, criticise and provide
alternatives. Your input is now requested regarding the roadmap and the
related RFCs.

Please either submit your comment on the wiki page itself or in reply to
this email.

We currently plan to publically announce the roadmap to pear-dev in a
timeframe of about 2 ws from now; if everything works fine and all
issues are cleared up here. At which time the finalized RFCs will move
to PEPr to be publically announced also.

With kind regards,
The PEAR Core QA Team
