COM Port App + Remote Desktop Error

Hi All,

I've written a c# app that polls an RS232 COM Port on my Server. It
works fine when I'm sitting at the server running it locally but
when I log in over Remote Desktop my app crashes after a while, and
when I re-start I can no longer poll my com port.

Is there a difference between how the com port is viewed/accessed when
local vs. when viewed/accessed over remote desktop?

BTW - If you can think of any groups more suitable for this question
please let me know :o)
