Re: Fast Text Search
Chris,

I have the S87 version of the lib and I can't remember if they sold a
more recent version. I think they were out of Richardson, Texas.
They visited our Dallas area Clipper users group and I can vouch for
the S87 version - it was quick.

Re: Fast Text Search
Chris

As Ross says it's only available in the SIXDRIVER V3 library available from
http://www.vistasoftware.com

This is for Clipper 5.2 only.

Re: Fast Text Search
Yes vista software seems to be the only one that has moved it along.

I also found http://www.hallogram.com/fasttext/index.html
but they want alot more dough. and nothing updated for 6 years.

unfortunately I was hoping to use it in a 32bit project.

and no one seem to support anything past clip 5.2c

Thanks

Chris

Re: Fast Text Search
Chris

You can use it in a 32bit app - you need to look at the Apollo stuff on the
vistasoftware site.
It comes as a 32bit DLL (FTS32.DLL) which you can use with most dev tools on
 the
market.
We use it in our Visual Objects application(s).
