Map file on Windows NT40

We are a small department that has one file on a Windows Based
Server that runs NT40.

Although it is only one file there are many subfolders, subsubfolders and
large numbers
of other documents, spreadsheets, database etc in the file.

We need a way to MAP IT so we can understand how to maintain
this file.  Can you suggest some inexpensive software that will
do this for us?
