Post Follow-up to this message~Your email alias is still set to DonBaechtel@discussions.microsoft.com You need to go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/subscriptions/ and log in. You will be taken to the downloads area. On the right hand frame, you will see >Get Unlimited Free PSS Support for Technical Issues! >Unlimited free support is available now to MSDN subscribers via the MSDN >Managed Newsgroups. In over 200 developer newsgroups, Microsoft will >assure that you receive a response to your posts within 2 business days. >This services is included as a benefit of your active subscription. You ca n >get started by registering here. The word "here" is a link to https://msdn.one.microsoft.com/Subs...dNewsGroups.asp Enter a nickname for your alias, and select an alias domain from the drop down. Once you press Submit, you will be told whether your alias has been created OK or not. If it has, edity your settings in your news client (or your profile in the web client) so that your alias is set to the one you have just created. I would leave it an hour between setting up your alias and posting with it, just to leave enough time for the systems behind the scenes to catch the new alias and set up the routings. Post Follow-up to this messageI have already done all that you mentioned and I am still not getting timely responses to my posts as was promised. What do I do now to get a response to my posts? Post Follow-up to this messageThere must have been some problem with your software, then. Your aliased address shows up fine now, but wasn't before (see below) I'd guess you will be routed to the right places now. Post Follow-up to this messageI came here to post the same inquiry! I have a subscription, I have the registered community email address. I know how to use it. I've used it in the past and gotten timely responses and resolutions to my postings. But I currently have a couple of postings that have not been responded to by the MS staff. I'm wondering what's up with that as well.
