How can I store Images in the MySQL Database

Hi Lists ,
 
My Query is How Can I store Images in the MySQL Database , and how to Index 
them , can anybosy help me on this please
 
I am starting out a Online Photo Gallery and want to share them , and I want
 to make the search available, Does anybody has already done on this ?
 
Please help me in this.

How about just storing the server-path in the database and accessing the
images over the file system?

i sugest it too.
