Project Manager -IVR 7 Speech Recognition Applications Permanent

Our client is looking for a Project Manager who will oversee the project
management and integration
of self-service applications in order to deliver customer solutions
as contracted.
Reporting to the Vice President, Professional Services, the Project
Manager is directly responsible
and accountable for project results. The successful individual will
take end-to-end ownership for
operational management of customer applications using IVR, CTI and
speech technology.
This includes definition of scope of work, project definition, production
and implementation of a
project plan. The Project Manager provides pre-sales support for new

engagements, interacts with customers in defining the project and managing
expectation and directs
the technical team in implementing the customer's application. The
Project Manager is expected to
manage the project through to fulfillment and close-out.


Qualifications:
§	A degree in Computer Science/Engineering (Masters preferred)
§	You must possess 3-5 years of software development experience
§	Previous management experience is desired, ideally in a professional
services environment.
§	Knowledge of project software such as Microsoft Visio and MS Project

§	PMP or PMI training is an asset
§	Experience managing the development of IVR/CTI applications of speech
technology in a
Microsoft Windows, UNIX, and/or Linux environment
§	User interface and software design experience an asset
§	Experience in managing all aspects of work, both commercial and technical
associated
with a project
§	Ability to coordinate and direct project activities on multiple projects
simultaneously, and
manage them to successful completion
§	Excellent English communication skills, in both written, presentation
and verbal form
§	Excellent interpersonal skills
§	Demonstrated problem solving skills
§	Skilled in consensus building, conflict resolution and team building
