Programmer Contract

As a technical resource to our IT Development team your primary responsibili
ties
will be to
develop and enhance proprietary SQL Server-based applications.
Your secondary responsibilities will be to maintain operation of an
Oracle-based application:

Qualifications
Primary Requirements:
Ø	5-10 years of experience in client-server programming
Ø	Experience developing Oracle applications and administering Oracle
databases
Ø	Experience developing Visual Basic and VBA applications and administering

SQL Server databases
Ø	Experience with MS Access application design and the Access Object
Model
Ø	Experience working with DAO, Active X and ODBC connectivity
Ø	Understanding of System Development Life Cycle
Ø	Good theoretical knowledge of Relational Theory and Database Design
Ø	Understanding of good programming practices like code Re-use,
Modular Programming, Standardization
Ø	User-Interface Design skills
Ø	Ability to create complex SQL Statements
Ø	Familiarity with other MS Office software
Ø	Creativity and enthusiasm as well as good communication skill are
critical


Secondary Requirements:
Ø	Experience in the following:
o	C# programming
o	Implementing Biz Talk
o	Business Objects universe design
Ø	Knowledge of insurance operations
