Business Systems Analyst Permanent

This important role with our client's Development team will have you
working with the on
going development of business processes and business procedures, including
documentation
for various projects.  Client requirements definition, business case
development as well as
capacity with resource planning will also be included as parts of your
day to day work.

Your excellent organizational and communication skills will be put
to use as you liaise with a
broad range of individuals both within and outside of the organization,
including working extensively
with project teams, clients and stakeholders to gather and confirm
project requirements.

Your must have a strong understanding of portal and mobile technologies
·	3+ years as a Systems Analyst
·	Experience doing GAP/SWOT analysis
·	Experience rolling out enterprise wide web applications
·	Experience participating with the QA process

Tasks and Responsibilities
·	Works closely with the business to research, analyze and document
business requirements
with a focus on developing, enhancing or changing existing
or new tactical and strategic
business systems solutions.
·	Develops and tests the technical specifications & components to support
the translation
of business requirements to a system specification
·	Conducts analysis of interdependency requirements with other Business
units to ensure
business and systems initiatives are consistent with
strategic operational requirements
·	Develops user documentation and supports the implementation of the
developed
systems solutions
·	Models potential solutions for new systems or changes to existing
system to gain user
acceptance of design and functionality using corporate
standards and methodology.
·	Develops executes and documents the test plans to ensure quality
and functionality are met
·	Supports systems analysts in the data mapping, program specification
and testing including
the development of data conversion requirements
·	Manages day to day activities for the assigned projects to ensure
deadlines are met
·	Performs other related duties as required.

Qualifications & Experience
·	University degree/college diploma in Information Systems or equivalent
combination of
education and related experience
·	Minimum 2 years business analysis or equivalent experience
·	Minimum 2 years experience in the development of production of formal
sign off documents,
business specification documents, prototyping and creation
of detailed systems specifications
·	Formal business/systems analysis skills training
·	Detailed knowledge of MS desktop products (ie: Word, Excel, Access,
Microsoft Project).
·	Analysis, Design & Specification of Web based solutions
·	Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently
·	Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
·	Excellent written and oral skills
·	Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical resources
at all levels
·	Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision
